The Stress Resiliency Program teams you with a licensed stress professional in a three-session program. Additional sessions areavailable as needed or requested:

Session One: We begin by measuring your existing level of stress, and identify the principle stressors in your life. These stressors are your points of vulnerability, where you need to become stress resilient. To make the best use of your time each participant will be given stress assessment measures and lifestyle surveys to prepare at home in advance of your first meeting. Special readings will also be given to provide an understanding of stress’s negative potential and its various signs and symptoms.

In Session 2 and 3: your Licensed coach will develop with you a Stress Resiliency Plan that addresses your special points of vulnerability and helps you create a new path to sustained wellness. You will be personally trained in this session and the next, in at least four methods of stress management. Your plan may include activities that impact your physical well-being, your emotional state, your attitudinal (cognitive) state, and altering self-defeating behavioral patterns. Stress management exercises, audiotapes, exercise plans and even nutritional guidance will be provided to guide you between sessions and after the completion of your training.

Your individual stress resiliency training will include such options as training in:

  • meditation
  • cognitive work & affirmations
  • visualization
  • traditional stress management techniques such as progressive relaxation
  • exercise planning
  • assertiveness training
  • nutrition
  • journaling
  • lifestyle change recommendations
  • engaging with support groups, volunteering, etc.
