Managing Stress On The Job:
This workshop is designed to assist
participants in identifying sources of stress in their work
environment, provide information on the physiology and psychology of
stress, and teach basic techniques for relaxation and stress
management
Burnout Prevention:
Techniques To Avoid Burnout And Manage Change:
This workshop is designed for professional level and line staff and
examines the personal and organizational factors which contribute to
burnout, particularly during times of organizational change.
Participants will learn to identify the stages of burnout, its
symptoms and specific individual, peer group and organizational
strategies for burnout prevention.
Staying Productive Under Pressure:
This workshop is designed to teach participants both the practical techniques of effective time
management, as well as to help them identify and manage personal
barriers which may impede their overall productivity. Participants
will assess current time usage and leave with a plan for a more
effective utilization of their limited time.

Explores the crucial issues involved in managing the stresses created by the demands of work and
family. Participants will gain awareness of the choices they are
making, learn how to prioritize between conflicting options and
competing values, and acquire tools and practical steps they can
take to develop a more balanced life.

Dealing With Difficult Employees:
This workshop helps supervisors deal more effectively with employees who are failing to fulfill
their responsibilities due to personal, work related or emotional
issues. Supervisors are taught communications skills that help both
parties understand the issues and move from confrontation towards
resolution.
Making A Referral For EAP Services:
This workshop helps supervisors recognize employee problems in their early stages when a referral to
EAP services is most beneficial. Supervisors learn how to tactfully
raise the issue with an employee and, using interactive role plays,
have opportunities to practice making a referral for services.
Employees At Risk: The Potentially Violent Client:
This workshop is designed to raise awareness about risk factors and safety issues
facing workplace staff and to impart information on preventive
measures as well as real time skills on how to deal with
potentially violent clients or employees.
Employees Under The Influence:
A Supervisors Guide To Dealing With Employees Who Use And Abuse Drugs And Alcohol:
This workshop provides participants with an overview of information about drug and
alcohol abuse and assists supervisors in developing strategies for
intervention with identified employees in their work setting.

Assertive Communication In The Workplace:
This workshop is designed to help participants understand the differences between assertive,
passive and aggressive forms of communication, and to learn general
techniques for assertive communication which can be applied in the
workplace to promote greater achievement and understanding.
Managing Change:
This workshop is designed to provide participants with information regarding the key
concepts of change and transition (especially helpful during times of organizational change), and
assists in the identification of positive and successful coping
skills resulting in increased workplace performance and lowered
stress.
Managing Finances:
This workshop discusses the fundamentals of handling financial problems including how
to budget, how to handle debt and creditors, obtain credit reports and identify resources in
a community to help employees stay financially healthy. This is not
a workshop on investing retirement funds!
Personal And Workplace Goal Setting:
This workshop is designed to teach participants how to set and achieve goals, emphasizing the
importance of clearly delineated goals to workplace and personal
productivity. Participants also learn how goal setting boosts
motivation and how to create an effective Goal Action Plan.
Positive Thinking For Success:
This workshop is designed to teach participants to identify and change negative thinking patterns,
especially negative thoughts that impact workplace and personal
functioning. Participants are taught tools such as affirmations and
altered physiology to assist them in building a positive attitude
and changed behavior.
Reinventing Yourself: Creating A New Work Identity:
This workshop is designed for employees whose job roles and responsibilities are
shifting due to company/program reorganization. Participants
identify the opportunities and challenges brought on by change and
learn the attitudes and competencies that will assist them to
successfully adapt and contribute to the new work environment.
